Building up on the successful second edition of the event in 2013, innovaBRICS & beyond is delighted to be partnering with Deloitte to deliver the 2014 of our annual conference.

LOOKING AT THE WORLD AS ONE BIG EMERGING MARKET
Finally in 2014 we see economies starting to grow again in the western economies, after years of crisis containment. Meanwhile, the fall out of the currency crisis in the emerging markets seems to have alleviated and these markets are once more buoyant.

However recovery is still fragile and it is increasingly clear the corporate sector now has to pick the baton from the governments and start looking for opportunities for growth across boundaries. So perhaps, it is apt, we theme this year's conference as "looking at the world as one big emerging market" from a growth standpoint. The first half of our conference will consider the opportunities and risks associated with growth in this new era.

INNOVATION IS HOW REAL ECONOMIC GROWTH IS CREATED
One of the pillars of recovery has been technology-enabled innovation, impacting consumer behaviour across the world. Some of the innovation has been highly disruptive to certain industries; at the same time these very innovations have the potential to propel whole economies into a new era of productivity, freeing them from historical reliance on natural resources and labour intensive economic output.
This means innovation has to be cultivated and nurtured to allow it to reach full potential. The second half of our conference convenes corporate sector, venture capitalists, start-ups and policy makers to discuss how innovation can help bridge the gaps and make the world one big consumer marketplace.

JOIN LEADERS TALKING INNOVATION, SUSTAINABILITY & GLOBAL GROWTHJoin business and government leaders as well as some of the most influential investors in emerging markets to discuss key innovation drivers and investment opportunities going forward.
